| From it, we traveled to the town of Sant Feliu, still on the GI
682, and onward to the town of Tamariu - another lovely bay town.
From Tamariu, we drove to the town of Fornells de Mar. In this town
there is a remarkable hotel in which we spent two nights. If you are
in the area, we recommend staying there. The hotel is called Bonaigua.

D.P. 17255. Ask for a room in a high floor, and so you'll be able
to see the magnificent view. In the evening, it is recommended to
eat at the fantastic hotel restaurant. If you are coming in the summertime,
or when the weather is still cozy in the evenings, sit outside among
the strawberry trees. Dinner lasts quite a long time, but the food
is great, the Sangria is excellent, and the atmosphere is magical
(the dinners are more or less standard; a different menu every day,
with few items to choose from). It is an ideal place for a vacation.
The place isn't too crowded with tourists, and right next to the hotel
there is a great beach. You can also bathe in a number of other beaches
in the area (a few minutes by car), and come back to the hotel in
the evening. |
