| Giethoorn is a tiny city, with no approach available for cars for
a simple reason: it has no roads. Park nearby, and tour it by foot.
For the brave amongst you, it is recommended to rent a small engine
boat, and do the tour through the canals. The boats function as the
main transportation method in this town, and so, instead of roads
you'll find water canals, which lead straight to the picturesque houses,
the fields and the cow herds. |
