| The town itself, Edam, is a small, magical place, a town grooved
with water canals, nurtured and teeming with flowers and vegetation.
It has a relaxing quiet that you won't find anywhere else. It has
very few restaurants, and we do not recommended entering it just for
eating. Stroll the streets for a short while in the afternoon or early
in the morning. You can find there some special cheese stores, selling
wax coated cheese, which you can take home with you. |
