| In the town we stayed in a cute little hotel called Hotel de Fortuna.
The hotel is very sweet, some of its cabins face the picturesque water
canals. Ask for such a room, or one that overlooks the garden, but
don't be tempted to stay in the rooms above the hotel restaurant.
The biggest disadvantage of this hotel is the parking. You can't park
inside the town, and so you'll have to park your vehicle in the free
of charge parking lot at the town entrance. Even though the walk to
the hotel is only five minutes long, a walk with your luggage is far
from ideal. You can unload your baggage at the hotel, and then park
your car. If you wish to eat at the hotel restaurant, you'll have
to book about three days in advance (!!!). It is a very expensive
and very popular French restaurant. We didn't get to eat there. |
